Averill Farms in Washington Depot, CT is a family run orchard which has been in the Averill family for more than 250 years. This beautiful hilltop farm has been a family destination for locals and visitors alike and is a great place for pick-your-own apples and peaches, local produce and products, and the most delicious fresh cider donuts ever. We will be showing our beautiful alpaca sweaters, blankets, yarn, socks, and other products on most Sundays in October 2010.
Come visit us and bring your camera to catch those perfect pictures for your holiday card.
November Update:
We've just finished our third year at Averill Farm. A quick thank you to both old friends and new for supporting us this year. We enjoyed meeting each and every one of you, and we look forward to seeing you at our farm or at Averill Farm next year.

We will be visiting St. Mary's Holiday Vendor Fair again this year. We have gorgeous new scarves and shawls, sweaters, and terrific blankets. We have something for everyone at every price point and a fun day of shopping. We hope to see you there.
Open Farm Days November and December 2010
Last Sunday in November and Each Sunday in December Before Christmas 12 - 5 pm at our Farm!!!
For the first time ever we will be hosting open farm days at our home at 57 North Terrell Farm Road in Morris, CT. The Willis Family will look forward to welcoming you to our farm! We have three gorgeous babies (crias) who are both breathtaking and fun to watch. We'll also have hot cider to keep you warm while you visit our family and shop our wares. We'll have something for EVERYONE on your list.
Also there are many gorgeous tree farms in our area; if you're looking for a holiday tree or greens, we would be happy to refer you to our favorites in the area. Come visit us in Morris and make a day of it!
YARN PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!
We just dropped off 32 pounds of raw fleece with our friends at Still River Mill in Eastford, CT. We're hoping for our yarn to come back in January 2011. We're planning a Yarn Party for all our Knit Knuts in February. We'll be creating both natural and dyed colors with 100% alpaca, blends with alpaca/merino or alpaca/silk, and maybe a few more surprises. Stay tuned for more info around December.
